Madison Alder David Ahrens is going to share his views on the Judge Doyle Square redevelopment project, and we'll also take up a formal endorsement of candidates for Governor and Lieutenant Governor.

This month, we're pleased to welcome Senate Democratic Leader Chris Larson, who will update us on plans to take back the State Senate, and candidate for Lieutenant Governor Senator John Lehman.

The Dane Dems will kick off 2014 with their first meeting on Wednesday, January 8th at 7:00pm at the Concourse Hotel in downtown Madison.
Our speakers this month will be the two declared Democratic candidates for Attorney General, Ismael Ozanne and Jon Richards. Each candidate will speak for 15 minutes, and have 5 minutes for questions. It will not be a debate, but rather a chance for the candidates to introduce themselves and for Democrats to learn more about each of them.
In addition, we'll have our regular updates from Democratic officeholders, and we'll have some County Board candidate endorsements to consider.
A reminder, candidates in 2014 Spring Races who wish to seek the Dane Dems' endorsement must notify Campaigns Vice-Chair Greg Packnett by 5pm on January 7th. He can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please make sure your membership is current as well.
